The Marie Claire Power Trip is a networking conference designed to bring together some of the biggest and brightest women leaders, businesswomen and executives, to connect, inspire and collaborate.

An invite-οnly, high-profile summit that runs in 3 continents and 4 markets (Marie Claire USA, Marie Claire Brazil, Marie Claire Greece and Marie Claire China), the Power Trip launched by Marie Claire Greece in 2019 has featured more than 130 speakers including prominent guests such as Brooke Shields, Arizona Muse, Margherita Missoni, Eliza Sednaoui, Anna Diamantopoulou and Gianna Angelopoulos. Nia Vardalos

Academy Award® nominated screenwriter and actor, Nia Vardalos received an Academy Award® and WGA nom for Original Screenplay, Golden Globe and SAG acting noms, winning the Independent Spirit and People’s Choice awards for My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the number one romantic comedy of all time. Of Greek descent, born and raised in Canada, Vardalos is classically trained in Shakespeare and musical theater.
Her famous work includes Connie And Carla, I Hate Valentine’s Day, My Life in Ruins, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, plus My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, coming to cinemas in September 2023. Nia Vardalos won Chicago’s Jefferson Best Actress award and performs in 24 Hour Plays on Broadway.
Her play, Beautiful Things is on the Top Ten Most Produced Plays list.
The proceeds of her memoir, Instant Mom, are donated to adoption charities, helping 1700 children be placed in permanent homes.

Esther Acebo

Esther Acebo is a Spanish actress, presenter and reporter, who achieved worldwide fame in the popular television series «La Casa de Papel». She studied physical activity and Sport sciences in the University of Castilla - La Mancha. Working in the theatre was her first passion.
Acebo is an avid fan of both sports and a healthy lifestyle, but also loves acting and continues playing important roles in new productions, both on television and cinema, while at the same time maintaining her passion about theatrical appearances.
The Spanish actress firmly believes that the figure of women in fiction has been vindicated through the famous television series, as all women characters have a lot of power, courage and intelligence and none of them stays in a man's shadow.
Acebo follows aspects of Indian culture and is a spirituality devotee.

Melia Kreiling

Melia Kreiling is a half-Greek and half-American. She was born in Geneva, raised in Athens, studied drama and contemporary dance in England and works in the USA. Early notable roles in Neil Jordan’s “The Borgias” starring opposite Jeremy Irons, and Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” developed her work ethic within largescale international productions. Some of her first leading roles include “Filthy Rich”, “Tyrant” and “The Last Note” by Pantelis Voulgaris. Most recently Melia was seen as Sofia in Netflix’s “Emily in Paris”, and as Amandine in Amazon’s “Mammals” starring opposite James Corden, where the The Atlantic writes “ the bigger revelation might be Kreiling, who more than holds her own’. Melia is passionate about animal rights, and supporting solution-driven awareness for homelessness and abuse on women issues.

Sofia Bekatorou

Sofia Bekatorou is a double Olympic medallist in sailing who has participated in 5 Olympic Games (Sydney 2000-Rio 2016), four as an athlete and one as a coach. She was twice the best Sailor of the Year Award from the World Sailing Federation.
She has been involved with a broad range of social responsibility activities implementing programs supported by the Hellenic Olympic Academy against bullying, promoting the Olympic values internationally. She has created a Science Technology and Math (STEM) sailing curriculum for schools which was run at DES School for 3 years. Sofia is a feminist supporting Gender Equality in sports and life and has landed some important “firsts” in her life, including being the first woman Olympic Flag Bearer for Greece (Rio 2016) and being the face of the #metoo movement in Greece, speaking openly of her sexual abuse as an athlete.
She has served as an Athlete’s representative in the Hellenic Olympic Committee’s Board of Directors , as well as on multiple committees for World Sailing.
In collaboration with the European Antiviolence Network, NGO, she has helped create the first platform for reporting abuse.

Naomi Shimada

Naomi Shimada is a model, writer, broadcaster and yoga teacher based in Milan, Italy.
Her almost life long experience as a model as well as being a child of the millennial generation who have lived and continue to live through the ambivalent experience of having an online existence have given her a unique insight on the world. Her practice brings together various interdisciplinary tools that include living systems science, Black feminist thought and somatic movement.
She sees her work as a call and response to create spaces of healing and transformation in these tumultuous times that we are living through.

Galateia Laskaraki

Galateia is an experienced editor and feminism advocate with expertise in luxury content and media events creation. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Studies (University of Athens) and an M.A. in International Journalism (University of Cardiff). Starting her career in the newsroom of Greek leading newspaper “To Vima”, she soon stood aside for her writing and was assigned long reads in the Sunday edition’s supplements. She has worked in the Greek National Radio network and numerous publications as a writer and deputy editor, including Glamour, Lucky and Marie Claire Greece, where she became Editor in Chief in 2015. Under her editorship Marie Claire Greece has seen readership, digital and advertising growth, expanding its brand message across multiple platforms and events, including the massively successful Marie Claire Power Trip conference about gender equality and women leadership. She is the proud mother of two daughters.

Myrto Legaki

Myrto Legaki is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program instructor, trained at the University of Massachusetts OASIS Mindfulness Center. She is also trained to teach mindfulness to children and youth, and specialised in trauma-sensitive mindfulness. Following her studies in Athens and Boston (BA in finance and MBA), she worked for 15 years as a management consultant and marketing manager in New York, London and Athens, in high-level positions of multinational companies. Myrto is the founder of One Breath Mindfulness Center, recognized as a pioneer organization in Greece, offering scientifically based education and mental health programs that combine neuroscience and mindfulness to people and organizations. She has collaborated with the Hellenic Society for Medical Oncology and Patients Associations in Greece. She is a volunteer mentor and TEDx speaker.

Angeliki Kosmopoulou

Angeliki Kosmopoulou holds a PhD in Classical Archaeology and an MBA. She has a diverse professional experience, having worked in academia, cultural management and communications. For the past years, she has been serving as a senior philanthropy executive.
She is also a storytelling coach and the founder of Storymentor, an NGO highlighting the role and value of storytelling.
She is an environmental activist, a mentor for women in public life and entrepreneurship, and a regular contributor to Greek media.
Her book “How to tell a story” is published by Livanis Publishing Organization.

Artemis K. Tsitsika

An elected Associate Professor of Pediatrics-Adolescent Health at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After graduating from Medical School, she continued training in Adolescent Health in Greece, Europe and the USA. She is the founding scientific Head of the Adolescent Health Unit of the Second Department of Pediatrics, “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital and the scientific Head of Academic Programs on WHO Youth Friendly Services. Moreover, she is Head of Training Curricula of the Greek Ministry of Health about the post Covid-19 effects on children and adolescents, as well as the Director of MSc «Strategies of Developmental and Adolescent Health». She is also the President of the Committee for the Gender Reassignment of Minors of the Greek Ministry of Health and the International Committee of Developing “Friendly” Services, according to the WHO guidelines.

Erietta Kourkoulou Latsi

She studied Sociology at the American College of Greece and later received her Master’s Degree in Animal Studies from New York University. She has been involved in the animal rights movement since the age of 15, founding her first NGO, ‘’Save a Greek Stray” in 2012. In 2020, she established the NGO ‘’A Promise to Animals’’ to raise awareness about the harms of animal agriculture and the consumption of animal products, encouraging the collective transition to a plant – based diet. Erietta is the Chairwoman of Matilda Foundation, dedicated to the protection of children from abuse as well as the protection of their fundamental, inalienable rights. Besides her role in the LFO legacy businesses, Erietta has partaken in a series of ethical investments, both through investments in vegan start-ups, and participating in venture funds, the majority of which are concerned with the food tech industry.

Mary Synatsaki

Mary Synatsaki is an entrepreneur, a content creator and a television hostess. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Panteion University, but she started her career in television in 2005, at 19 years old. From 2011 onward she has her own YouTube Channel, with 280.000 subscribers. Her social media content very frequently focuses on social and mental health issues. In 2015 she took up acting lessons and started participating in theater plays and musicals. In the same year she and her twin sister, Alice, created their own e-shop, “Buy a Boo” and in 2017 she started designing her own shoes line, “Mariboo for Envie”. In 2019 she took another entrepreneurial project, in collaboration with actress Athina Oikonomakou, thus creating their own fashion brand, “Project SOMA”. Recently all has been at pause, because she became Olivia’s mother.

Lottie Moss

A model and entrepreneur who has graced the covers of many well-known magazines, Lottie has also launched a perfume and a successful clothing line with Pacsun. Lottie's first official shoot was published in Teen Vogue, followed by her first full editorial in Dazed. Her first campaign was for Calvin Klein. Just a year later she made her catwalk debut at Paris Fashion Week, in the Sonia Rykiel A/W 2015 show. In 2021 Lottie became a successful creator on the social platform Only fans, an internet content subscription service. Lottie's vision is to empower women around the world to be confident, successful and driven. She has opened up about her mental health struggles, saying that her time in rehab was “the best thing ever”, adding that talking about things you have gone through is important, because if you don’t, you can’t heal. 

Jasmin Harsono

Jasmin Harsono is of mixed heritage, with Iranian, Italian and Welsh roots, and was born and raised in London, which she still calls home. She is a multi-sensory artist and founder of the wellness brand Emerald and Tiger. A highly respected wellness industry figure, she has been shortlisted for this year's Allbright Brightlist Wellness Pioneer.
Jasmin's work fuses modern life, conscious living, and ancient practices to give people experiences and tools to tap into their truth, power, and potential. Her practices include Reiki, Shamanism, Sound Therapy and Healing, Voice Activation, Music Therapy, Somatic Movement, and Meditation.Jasmin provides support to various charities through its wellness initiatives, including Duty of Care, Future Dreams Charity and Covid Aid Charity, among others.
Her debut and best-selling book Self Reiki published by DK is out now.

Stella Kasdagli

Stella Kasdagli is a writer, a gender expert and the co-founder of Women On Top, a Greek non-profit organisation for the professional development of women and gender equality. In 2020, WoT became the first non profit organization participating in the National Council for Gender Equality.
Stella is also a published author, translator, book club enthusiast and the facilitator of impactful workshops on professional development, gender issues and social change. She studied French Literature in Athens and Media Studies in London, and has worked for 10+ years as a women’s magazine and online editor. She is an IVLP alumna and the recipient of the Social Impact UK Alumni Award. She has published eight books for the empowerment of girls, women and teens, and she lives in Athens with her husband and two daughters.

Elisabeth Calbari

Elisabeth Calbari (MISCP) is a neuropsychologist, executive neuroleadership consultant and keynote speaker focusing on the brain as well as the psychology and behavioural sciences, seeking self-improvement and culture change programs. She is an award-winning program designer with expertise in combining the neurosciences, psychology and leadership development.
Elisabeth is the founder of Self Balance, a learning and development solutions company using evidence-based tools with real time biometric devices that engineer corporate growth on the basis of tailor made neuroscience-based programs, to promote and foster individual and organisational effectiveness by unleashing the human potential, enabling both individuals and organisations to change at the core.

A global explorer who has traveled to more than 50 countries, Niki is an entrepreneur, mentor, and mom of twin boys. She is the creator of Travelgems, a leading retreat company in Europe, and a Board Member of Bespoke SGA holdings based in Athens, Greece. She serves as an ambassador for the Global Wellness Institute. With over 20 years of experience, Niki is a high-caliber marketing strategist. She holds an MBA (NYU), an MSc in International Marketing (Strathclyde University) and a BSc in Business Administration (Athens University of Economics & Business).
